Mother-effing hsl()
Developer Paul Irish has launched Mother-effing hsl(). A wee site to help you get HSL color codes.
HSLa is an acronym for Hue Saturation Lightness (and alpha) and works in a similar way to RGBa in CSS.
Read more about HSL in Chris Coyier’s blogpost “Yay for HSLa” and check out the Mac application Colors from developer Matt Patenaude.
User Agent Man also has a nice blog post about HSL.
UPDATE: Trent Walton has also written about HSL on his blog.
